More later, but we’re recently back from a 2-week blitz of Jordan, Syria & Lebanon. Lovely people, amazing food, stunning ruins, zany border crossings, the occasionally overheard bit of distant gunfire, the faded glory of Beirut–all very worth doing, provided you don’t have an Israeli stamp on your passport.
